FAQS

DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO VISIT A PODIATRIST?

No, you do not need a referral to see a Podiatrist. However, in some  circumstances, clients may benefit from a GP referral if they are eligible for the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Scheme or if they are a DVA gold card holder.
Your GP can assess your eligibility and refer you for our services via Medicare.

DOES MEDICARE COVER PODIATRY?

No it doesn't. The medicare rebate is $60.35 and will be paid back into your account. The full fee is payable on the day of service.

ARE THERE ANY CONDITIONS FOR USING A REFERRAL?

It is the responsibility of the patient to bring your referral to your consult.

If you do not have a current referral you will be charged the full consultation fee. It is not the responsibility of the clinic to follow up with your doctors..

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR YOU TO VISIT MY HOME?

Our home visit fee is determined by the distance and time it takes to travel to your home.
